BC NDP wins majority government

For the first time in 24 years, BC NDP is to form majority govt in the province of British Columbia.

Preliminary election results released on Saturday showed the party leading 55 of the province’s 87 constituencies, with BC Liberals in 29 and the Green Party leading in three seats.
