A man and a woman have been shot in South Surrey Sunday evening, RCMP announced .
Officers were called to the victims’ home in the 4200-block of 152 Street, Surrey RCMP said in a news release sent shortly after 6 p.m.
The shootings appeared to have been targeted, the release said.
Both victims were transported by ambulance to a regional trauma hospital to be treated for their apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
Surrey Serious Crime investigators were still on scene into the evening. Lower Mainland Forensic Identification Section also attended.
Officers would not be available for comment until Monday morning, the release said.
