RCMP officer stood guard outside the Da Kine Glass & Gifts medical cannabis dispensary less than 24 hours after three people were arrested at the retail outlet located in a strip mall at the corner of 104 Avenue and 152 Street in Guildford.
Surrey RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Alanna Dunlop said police were responding to a complaint about possible criminal activity inside the facility.
“We did get information that this location was possibly selling marijuana-type products,” said Dunlop. “We attended and based on our observations, we initiated a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act investigation. Three people have been arrested and subsequently released and our investigation is ongoing.”
