Driver remained at the scene in fatal collision in Surrey

Police seeking witnesses to a fatal accident over the weekend in Surrey, even driver remained at the scene.

RCMP are seeking witnesses to a traffic accident Saturday evening Surrey City Centre area which claimed the life of a 69-year-old man.

Police received a report of the accident at approximately at 5 pm on December 3,

A Toyota Tundra traveling southbound on 140 Street stuck a pedestrian in the 9300-block.

The driver of Toyota Tundra remained at the scene and cooperated with police. The incident remains under investigation, but alcohol has been ruled out. It was raining heavily at the time of the accident.

Police, paramedics and firefighters reached there. The man was transported to hospital, where he died.
